Operations update
The Iris CM-1x well was spudded on 5 July 2008 using the jack-up drilling rig Hercules-156, with Addax acting as drilling operator. The well encountered the targeted Gamba reservoir but it was found to be water-bearing. The well was therefore plugged and abandoned and the rig released on 30 July 2008.
A number of additional leads / prospects have been identified, which are currently being evaluated.
