London, 11 July 2007 - The Board of Afren plc gives notice that the Annual General Meeting will be held on Thursday 14 June 2007 at the offices of Pelham Public Relations, No 1 Cornhill, London EC3V 3ND at 11.00 am.

The Notice of the Annual General Meeting and 2006 Annual Report and Accounts will be posted to shareholders today.

Background information
