Overview of EHSS Management System
The Afren EHSS Management System (EHSS MS) is structured around a series of elements as shown below. Within many of these elements there are further sub-elements that address specific EHSS issues (Table 1).
The adoption of this systematic approach to EHSS management provides the basis for:
- Consistency and cohesion across the Company.
- Linking environmental, health, safety and social expectations into overall business objectives and plans.
- Focusing EHSS related investment on the basis of risk assessment.
