Group Head of Human Resources

Mrs Barker joined Afren in 2008 as Head of Human Resources, a role which encompasses Group-wide responsibility for all HR activities including recruitment, retention, reward and organisational development. She has over 25 years’ human resources experience in the oil and gas industry with Chevron, Gulf, LASMO and African Arabian; this included a three year assignment as Head of HR for a new country entry in Venezuela. She also spent five years as Head of HR in financial services for insurer ‘esure’ during their start-up phase.
