Mr Galib Virani

Associate Director

Mr Virani is an Associate Director of Afren Plc, having joined the Company in 2005 following a career in the City of London in Corporate Finance and Mergers & Acquisitions. Mr Virani has played a key role in the Company’s financing, in diversifying the shareholder base and to the overall growth of the Company’s portfolio of assets.

Mr Virani is an East African national and a member of the Johannesburg Stock Exchange Africa Board Advisory Committee. He is a Fellow of the Securities Institute, and has a Master of Finance & Investment (with Distinction) and a Master of Philosophy in Emerging Market Finance.
